Allah has always, always been kind to me... i have total faith that He is always there dispatching HIS angels to be the invisible hand whenever i turn to HIM.... He always makes me look up in the sky and smile at HIM and say a million thanks...

recently, i went to the ATM to withdraw some cash... i was really dry and waiting for some cash to come in.  when i slot in my card, i said... God, you have never let me down so, don't let me down this time.... He didn't.  i smiled and said thank you... as i left, i saw a boy holding a box collecting donation for a school.  i walked past him to the car but my mind was with the boy and felt that i was being rude towards God.  i have always told myself that it is the little little things that we do that come back to us where God bails me out... i went back to that boy and handed over to him a note as my way to show my gratitude towards God for not letting me down all the time...

oh God, please don't let me down all those times when i turn to you and please never cease your blessings and hidayah onto me.  hope there will never come a day that i turn away from You... Amin.

kumon classes...

the children have been attending kumon classes and alhamdullilah, the progress is satisfactory... this is what happens in the kumon class on a typical day...

and guess what the lil one does? if he does not wait in the class,

he waits in the car with mummy and keeps himself occupied with mummy's handbag.

baking...

ever since i was small, i had loved cooking/baking.... i used to experiment all kinds of food and the food that i cook always get eaten.  i had always been wanting to own a microwave convection oven since i refused the built in oven for fear that my children will get hurt... finally, i got one and realised it is exactly what my sister in law has...

i wanted some guidance on baking so i asked a few people who were into baking... this is the outcome of my first attempt at baking... my children were so involved in it and they were the ones who would sprinkle the chocolate chips on the cuppies... my sons who are the picky eaters asked for more and that means it must have been delicious... the older two took some to school to show off to their friends...

ingredients:
‎125g softened butter,
2 eggs,
3/4 tsp vanilla essence,
180g self raising flour,
1/2 cup milk,
170g caster sugar,
1/4 spoon salt. 

i am sure you would know how to bake a cake so follow the same... bake at 180 degrees for 20 mins....

spa at home...

i always try to make life interesting for my children, something to look forward to everyday....

in order to make the reading session interesting, i decided to lock them in a spa session... they need fun while i need them to revise their reading....

sure is distracted by the fact that lil brother is sitting right next to her.... oh where is the baby? he is upstairs with daddy who didn't know what was going on downstairs...

flower baskets....

recently when my sister in law got married, i helped her with making nice flower baskets that was supposed to be used by the flower girl and boy... since her wedding theme was black and white, i decided that the baskets will follow the same...

here are some of my experimental shots using both 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm and 1 NIKKOR VR 30-110mm lenses...

the material...

you might notice that almost all the shot were taken twice, one with flash and one without... the objects taken with flash give a sharper finish as compared to the one without... that is the question that needs an answer...
the sad part is the shadow...

i simply love the finished products as well as the blurred background...

by the way, creativity is my speciality... i simply love doing these kind of crafts.. should there be an avenue, i should monetize my talents.... the one thing that matters here is when i do something passionately, i sure know the result will be superb in my eyes.... where do i find the time to do everything i love...

mummy has become so efficient that she is able to take all three children on her own for an outing to the jungle gym and end it with a nice dinner at chilis...

i guess when you hold a good camera, capturing moments, objects, scenery and etc. becomes a second nature...

i stationed myself on my bed, trying to capture the fast rotating fan... my sony wouldn't have given me what my nikon did...

the theme is a true kopitiam...
