school holidays

my God... i had to wait for school holidays of my 4 year old and 3 year old before i could take some time off. yahooo... so i did and off we went to ipoh, back to my hometown. it was the time i so look forward to... mummy's girl, i am!

daddy sent us to ipoh and stayed on before going off to work. we had so much fun while waiting for daddy to come and fetch us home. it was especially fun for the children to meet their great grandmothers, grandparents, periyamma, periyatta, mama and cousins.

here are some of the photographs that captures the holiday events....

the children in their new swim suit.... baby nazhan's first feel of the pool that his sister and brother so love....

opps... so cold! by the way, he is wearing his brother's new underwear for the lack of his own.

got the hang of it, i suppose... i love my little redbean's smile...

nurul fatimah akka is have fun playing with the children...

my little swimmers...

wah wah wah...

the children had an appointment with their dentist...

their dentist is a visiting doctor to Hospital Pantai, Ipoh. we are very happy with him. my children are at ease with him. i really like a doctor who behaves like the guy next door. this is the children's second visit.

nadia nasira was complaining about her toothache and we were quite worried not knowing the cause. apparently, her first permanent teeth molar, being gigi geraham, is in the process of growing. the doctor also commented that mummy had taken good care of their teeth. ehehehhe mother in law had been ensuring that they brush teeth properly. thanks to mummy... no junkies no sweets on a daily basis. those are once in a while treats....

the doctor's advice is to ensure children brush teeth with a pea size toothpaste that contains fluoride.

i told my friend who loves to bake that i was going to go back. she made me some cuppies... the next day, i made my own and i love my own plain butter cupcakes...

my children love them too... it was even more special when mummy was the one who baked the cuppies...

this boy will only eat the icing...

choo-choo train... periyamma got nadia nasira an alphabet train, belated birthday present...

we were lucky... there was an upin and ipin carnival ongoing...

there was a board for the visitors to write messages to upin and ipin...

this is nadia nasira's handwriting... she can write her name! thank you to all those who had taught my daughter how to write her name.... one thing about my girl is that she has a picturistic memory, so i guess it was a combination of her ability to write the alphabets and picturistic memory....

some of the stalls that caught my children's attention...

this is me with the shortest hair ever... just to make hubs happy... nadia nasira said that i look like a clown with this short hair...

9 month old nazhan nasr

mummy's pride is 9 months old now...

he is still breastfeeding (all praise to God), eating solids, creeping round the house, laughs out loud, waves his hand (thanks to nanni and daddy), increasingly getting attached to loved ones other than the queen of his heart...mummy, of course! he is quite demanding, especially during mealtime (he loves to eat what you eat) and seeking attention 'please pick me up'. i love it when i come home from work, he practically pushes everyone away to jump on me.... this is the stage in their life when mummy is the most important person and therefore, i am determined to enjoy it even if it stresses me out. no doubt, his smile eases my tiredness and lack of sleep as well as and it will come a day when tv or toys become more important.

being his mother, i am constantly thinking about him and his development as well as reaching milestones.... i really enjoy those private moments i get with him and i know he does too. oh yes, being a boy, he adores his daddy too...

happy growing up baby!

my husband

i think my husband is very good looking... i didn't realise that until i came across this pic....

if only he constantly play the role of all my romantic heroes in the movies, i will be so high and drowsy with love...

hahahaha romantic fool, that's me!

gifts from god...

these are gifts from god...

yet a test from Him as well! we study languages, geography, history, arithmetic, etc. in school and move on to specialised fields like engineering, teaching, medicine, etc. at the university or collage but no where did we go to learn on parenthood... you can fail in school or university but you would never want to make the slightest mistake when it comes to parenthood..... it is the future of the world in our hands.! we shoulder that huge of a responsibility when we committed to parenthood.

good luck and may God bless us with lots of PATIENCE and wisdom in carrying out the responsibility....

happy father's day

happy father's day to my dear atta, darling hubs, bathuna, boy, machan and all the fathers in the world... thank you for being wonderful fathers and husbands too (for sharing the journey of parenthood with their wives)....

thank you atta for being a wonderful father... for nurturing us with the best of values, showing us your love through a strict upbringing as well as stressing on education, showing us the path towards adulthood, spoiling us with lots of food and travelling... we love you...

this is where it all began.... what we all are today is significantly contributed by my father and mother...

thank you daddy for being such a wonderful daddy to my dearest angels. we love you for your love, all your hardwork, your care, your presents from overseas, the happy time spent with us and the list goes on...

the journey continues with this man. daddy and his latest love...

pray that we will have lots of wonderful memories together....

recently work took me to penang island... it was refreshing and of course, it was a time off from the hustle and bustle of life... i greatly enjoyed it! thanks to hubs and thumbs up to him for being completely in charge of the children.

the best thing about my time off was that i felt great breathing in the sea breeze while my little boy got attached with his daddy...
