to my dear atta...a heap of appreciation for being a great father, the way you knew best. i know i am you pet daughter, you made no secrets about that. you even told so to my husband the very next day we were married.
i am so proud of you for the man you are... a great man with lots of strength and weakness (who doesn't). you have always been a hero to me. i remember all the stories of a lifetime you told us while we were growing up...i remember the times when we would all sit around you during the weekends after lunch listening to you. oh, i remember that so well. it was one of the best memories of my childhood. i remember the times you would cook for us maggie mee, bought us breakfast every weekends, did marketing (sometimes, you took me and boy along), bought us tons of durians, rambutans and manggis (i so love these)....oh well, i could go on and on and on. thank you for all the memories.
i remember how much importance you had put to our education....i excelled in my studies mainly for fear of disappointing you. i remember the times when i disappointed you, so much so that you could not even scold me for it had hurt you so much. i am so sorry for all those times.
thank you for all the hard work, patience (it ran thin all the times), endurance, care and everything you went through in raising all six of us. i can never thank you enough. i love you so much...though i have never told you so.
