middle managers program

the idea of the middle managers program was mooted by our current CEO as part of human resource development and long term succession planning. i was selected to attend the middle managers program and it felt great being among the chosen ones.


we were evaluated based on several criteria and at the end of the program, we had to present to the panel of judges comprising of several vice presidents and senior officers. the evaluation will then be part of our P file for HR future use.


i was the group leader and we worked very hard on our presentation, stressing on thinking out of the box. we proposed a very high level solution to the case study which upset the judges. they questioned and commented on our proposal which we answered as well as defended our stand. many groups got the same kind trashing as well. so much for thinking out of the box!


at the end of the program, i received some nice comments from the peers and facilitators that made me leave with head held up high.
