my collegues

thank you niza for a wonderful lunch...

happy birthday nanni...

happy birthday nanni... may God bless you with good health and strength and patience and lots of happiness....
thank you for all that you have done for us. we can never thank you enough....

enough.

my johor trip...

i found this an interesting place... johor premier outlet...

my favourite power station...

i was on an assignment to this site.  it is a power station which i was involved in since its construction days as well as commissioning days... over the many years, i have made several trips to this coal powered power station...

as i approached it from a distance, i saw the heaps of coal as well as the steam from the boiler.... brought back sweet memories of my singular days.... once upon a time, this site was filled with skilled and non skilled workers in different coloured overalls from all over the world.  many a times will i be the only lady among the surveyors conducting risk surveys distracting the workers... i always had wonderful time being here...

the coal stock...

the guard house...

the chimney...

unit 4 undergoing construction... from a barren land to a power generating plant...

can you see the conveyor belt that would transport the coal...

the road that takes you to the station itself...

three units of boiler...

the coal reclaimer

the switchyard...

i belong to this generation...

i dedicate this to all my childhood friends at my beloved school Tarcisian Convent School, Ipoh and Arya Samaj Centre... you are very much part of my growing up years....

mummy's birthday...

i guess i am growing old, sometimes gracefully but sometimes quickly. in my heart, i never age.  this year marks my 38 years of life... i thank Allah for all the blessings and pray for more patience, lots and lots of patience to thread the challenges in life... there is one thing i am worried about... that is the spiritual path....

this is my birthday cake... thank you darling...

i like the number of candles on it...

this is what my mum would do... all of us will cut the cake together....

i like the look on my children in the pic below.... i guess it is very important for parents to be loving towards each other because that teaches the children to be loving... they grow up happy.  when parents show anger towards each other in front of the children, i assure you that they are screwing up their children's personality.

this is a rare moment....

oh by the way.... nikon J1 came as a surprise... thank you darling... to reward myself, i got myself a microwave convection oven.... yeay.... life simply gets better and better everyday minus those rare moments and people who suffer from my silent curse...

God does watch over us...

almost every wednesday for the past many many years, i would buy fresh vegetables from a roadside vegetable seller. i would park my car by the roadside beside the stall and if i was being nice, would take one of the kids with me. today, i was delayed at my mil's because i was clearing up stuffs that my son had threwn around the house.
as i was driving towards the vegetable seller, i saw an unusual crowd,.  i knew something really bad had happened. as i approached nearer, i saw a toyota harrier badly damaged in front with the airbag out on my right and on my left, a 5 tonne lorry has rammed into the the vegetable seller's stall, damaging everything as the after effect of a head on collision....i was late by minutes and today, i didn't buy any vegetables. i am grateful that none of us are hurt...
everytime, you are delayed by something that isn't within your control, rest assured that there may be a bigger power that is delaying you, don't be upset about it. be thankful, you are alive....

first day of Genius Aulad 2012

it is the first day of school for this year. my children were looking forward to this day. thank God, my children loves school.  i think it paid off sending them to school at 3 and half past 2 respectively.  i wanted them to consider learning be fun.  i think ever since they can remember the first accounts of memories, they have been going to Genius Aulad...

i am so glad that i don't have to listen to nak mummy this time around.  i guess it will not be until muhammad nazhan nasr's turn to go to genius aulad probably in 2014 which is when nadia nasira will be starting her primary 1.

there was only one issue here.  i managed to potty train muhammad nashwan nasr in december and therefore, it is a new experience for him to be going to school without the diapers.  there were a few accidents which made him a bit more sensitive about it.  i had to discuss with his teacher on the best way to handle it but it was final. no diapers to school.  i was adamant about because he is very well behaved at home when it comes to his trips to the washroom.  he became so vain and made so many trips to the washroom in school which posed a problem to his teacher who will have to follow him everytime he made that trip.  apparently, mummy knows best.  issue addressed and i am so thankful.  i wouldn't want my child is looked as a burden.  i had to look from the teacher's point as well.  i was upset as well when the teacher proposed the used of diapers... i was furious but i managed the issue best...

the school is a bit careful handling my children because i am the kind of a mother who would confront the issue and address it to get it over with... i always pray to God that my children are protected while their teachers are guided while handling my children.  may they are granted with patience and guidance... amin...

here are some pictorial memories of their first day to school.  happily said bye bye to his older siblings who were going to school with aunty nora...

he is into football as well like his brother... he picked this up while he was in ipoh since his cousin loved to play with him...

best of friends in school when i went to pick them up...

this is nadia nasira's classmate... i have seen her since 2010 when i first sent nadia nasira to school at the age of 3.

smilling at mummy... they insisted that they will come home with aunty nora... i am sure they missed aunty nora so much...

season holidays....

the children were back from ipoh on the 24th december and so on christmas day, we were all together... it was also time of the year for shopping.... it was also for their aunty's... here are some pics of our first outing when they got back home...

happy birthday dear hubby

hmmm... it is december and it is the time of the year when i am so rich.... alhamdullilah... thank you atta and amma for the education and thank you God for your blessings...

and it is also the time of the year when it is the birthday of my hubby... since my children were still in ipoh, it gave me the time to be with my husband and celebrate the day...

you see... i guess it is my nature to want to make others happy... and as for my husband, i wanted to celebrate his day the way i would have wanted my birthday celebrated... do onto others what you want others do for yourself... frustration is if it is only you who think that way... hahahaha

i am happy doing whatever i do... this is how i would have celebrated my birthday on an average... and this is how i celebrated my husband's birthday... this year, i might want to be more imaginative...

we went to KLCC... this is very important... KLCC is so me as it reminds me of my glorious single days... i love everything about it and what it stands for.... i take pride in being here... but alas the crowd...

we stopped by this place and we got the children lollies...
this is something else that i like about december... the deco and the holiday mood it sets...

now, where is the bday boy? see, i told you i was celebrating my birthday....

we went for a movie... MI... i wouldn't waste time watching just any movie.... while we were buying the tickets, i asked the guy about this movie called ombak rindu. he said each time, it is a full house but he doesn't know about the movie... and its timing... there is one at 11.20pm... i made a mental note... after dinner, i came back to KLCC for ombak rindu and it really felt complete...

and here is where we had our dinner.... you should go too... very siamese... they serve food of the region as well... oh, i so wanna go there again...

i so blend in...

oh the food....

and the desert presentation...

do you get the feeling....whose birthday was it anyway? it was so irresistible as the restaurant was so scenic...

thank you and come again....

by this time, the children were back to give daddy the birthday present... Ipad 2...

they were so enthusiastic...

beautiful...

remember.... he can say yeay, goool... this is how he would look like when he says it...

happy birthday.... God bless you... hope you are bless with all the goodness and wisdom to lead us all... amin...
