happy 2nd. birthday nadia nasira part 1

it's miss nadia nasira's second year birthday....
as usual, her aunty na would ask us, the parents what we are planning to do for miss nadia nasira's birthday a month before. her aunty na had already bought her a dress for the birthday celebration since january. the parents procastinated the planning and last minute came up with a birthday bash for their dearest daughter....
we wanted a simple birthday party with close family and friends. since her birthday falls on a monday, we decided to have a it on the sunday after her birthday. we were thinking of getting either A&W or MacDonalds party package and decided on A&W home party package.
my husband and i was on leave on her birthday. i suggested to my husband that we should take nadia nasira somewhere; either to the beach or the zoo. so, we decided to have a picnic at Port Dickson, the nearest beach. since every morning she points to me all the mosques we pass by before reaching her nanni's house, i thought i would also take her to the majistic looking Puchong Perdana mosque by the lake. she was excited all week since i told her about the trip to the mosque (not that she knows when but she knows she is going soon).
suddenly, on that saturday night, i realised that she hasn't got a new dress to wear on her birthday and therefore, did a quick shopping at Jusco Taman Equine. the sunday night, after her daddy got back from work, we went to A&W Taman Jaya to do the final booking.
when she woke up on her birthday morning, she had some cheeky moments with her brother, muhammad nashwan nasr. she had breakfast and played with the swing and slide set her aunty na got for her. i packed all the stuffs for the picnic, the food (some nasi lemak, sambal udang and sayur), got the children ready and waited for her daddy to get ready (that takes forever). we went to get her nanni and off we went. nadia nasira was amazed at the mosque and till today, keep refereing to the BIG mosque. we spent some time there and sped off to PD. along the way, got some drinks and titbits to munch.
we found a deserted spot by the beach and as we unloaded stuff from the car, i could see that nadia nasira was so excited from her body movement. we had lunch and brought nadia nasira to the sea.... she liked the idea of getting into the water but it must be the waves and being barefoot that made her feel uncomfortable, i guess. on the shore, she walked about, teased the stray cats and that tired her. in the meantime, her brother also had fun chatting away baby talk, a dip in the water and managed to have a short nap. as it got a little hotter, we packed and went for a drive.
we came back to a different spot where there were people around. i was amazed to see a group of boys and horses. we were told that the horses were from Melaka. we had the sandwich that nanni had prepared, got the children changed and off we went home just before sunset....
i felt so happy that the birthday girl really enjoyed herself with all the new experiences.
