i'm counting days to bidding farewell to mother in law who shall be on a journey she so looked forward to in her lifetime. don't we all? a hajj pilgrimage, a journey performed in fullfilling the last pillar of islam... a spiritual one and the most looked forward one...
while everyone is busy preparing for her journey, i reflected on my journey to the holy land.... i miss being in that spiritual state... i hope that one day, i would find the time to pen down my experience so as to share with my babies their mummy's first experience to the holy land with the hope that they would internalise its significance... the ultimate journey... amin...
